I was determined to change my career. I came to know about skillstrain through leaflet in the post. I have joined A+/N+/CCNA course. I manage to submit majority of the A+/N+ assignments in the first attempt. I passed my A+ exam in first attempt with good marks. Since last month I am running a part time small business from home, as an IT technician. I am receiving 2-3 computers per week for repair or upgrade, baring in mind that it is relatively new business, and I haven't promoted it as much yet. I am hoping to expand it in near future through advertising and make it as full time business.

The knowledge I have obtained wouldn't have been possible without the help and support of the tutors at skillstrain. I am looking forward for a bright future after completing my study.

Over the past two months I have been studying very hard for promotion at work. One of my key tasks was to pass my A+ and N+ exams to help put a case forward for promotion. In December 2007 I passed both external exams to certify as an A+ IT Technician and now have the certificate on my wall at work. Then to make things even better I sat and passed my Comptia N+ exam in February and am now awaiting that certificate to go alongside my A+ one. My manager has just said he is going to support my case for promotion and fingers crossed it will be made true these coming months. All of this is down to the course materials received from Skillstrain making the studying a lot easier with excellant course materials.

I've never had a solid knowledge of computers. After studying for the CompTIA A+ with Skills Train, I took my A+ exam in August and I passed with 724 in the CORE and 681 in the OS. I'm presently on the CompTIA N+ with the college and hope to progress with the CCNA and CCNP.

Thanks to Skills Train.

I started Network+ with Skills Train and I have had tremendous result. I did not know anything about N+, but now I can design network infrastructure, connect more than 50 PC to communicate with each other. I can configure RAP and many more network Protocols. Thanks to the Skillful trained Tutors of the Skills Train. I am now on the CCNA course with the SKILLS TRAIN.

Passed CompTIA N+ with flying colours! Not bad for a 54 year old whose academic brain petrified some 20 years ago! The exam was taken out of interest though with the move to later retirement I can look forward to maybe being one of this country's oldest networking specialists! I shall now relish tackling CCNA. Thank you Skills Train.

When I first started on the networking course I thought what am I letting my self in for but once you get started you can not stop your self from getting the work done. You also get a good feeling when the marks come back, even if you think you will not get a good enough mark to carry on, but most of the time if you study right you will get good marks.

I'm writing to say thanks for my certificate, it came this morning and I just couldn't believe it when I saw I got a Distinction. I think the practical training sessions really made the difference - I've never gone into an exam and felt so confident.
I'm going to use this "landmark" to look around for a better job, so I wanted to let you know that all your hard work and patience paid off.

Thanks again to you all for your help and support.

Since I applied for CCNA+ course and received my first book, have not had much time to study. Last year after Christmas I decided to start studying, and took it very seriously. I have finished the original N+ PART A book, all my assigments has been marked in 3 weeks, when the updates were released. So I thought that I was going to start the new N+ PART A book from the beginning.
By now I finished this book, just in 2 weeks, send my assignments continously. I have learnt and studied a lot and more every day, gained my knowledge. I am very determined, enjoying studying, wanting to learn, because I have a very good reason. Before I moved to Scotland I had been working in IT for 6 years. I had more practise than theoritical knowledge. This course helps me get to know and learn new things in IT, completely understand what I had done and why in my previous IT jobs. I want to go back to work and establish a new career in IT sector, just love it.
