IT companies looking at recruiting talent

IT companies looking at recruiting talent

Talented IT training course graduates could be more desirable employees due to the credit crunch, a new study shows.

Research published by StepStone shows that companies are still struggling to find employees to recruit, with more than half noting this trend.

The report suggests that the IT industry will continue to target their hiring processes at high-performing and talented workers, such as those who have completed an IT training course.

Colin Tenwick, chief executive officer of StepStone, claims there is now a cold war for talent.

He states that the days where organisations looked at a small pool of employees, hiring the best they can find from these, is over.

"We are seeing an extreme correction back to classic people management where companies are nurturing and rewarding the best talent, releasing the non-performers and quietly hiring in strong talent to replace them," he asserts.

Chris Morrall, a graduate recruitment careers management expert, recently advised jobhunters to fully research their prospective employers before their interview.ADNFCR-2238-ID-19076583-ADNFCR
