Windows 7 will be top teachers tool

Software giant Microsoft has introduced new resources to assist teachers in the classroom, it has been revealed.
The company's Windows 7 product will provide a variety of free software and services to help teachers enhance the education experience for their students, it may interest those instructing Microsoft MCSA courses to learn.
L Michael Golden, corporate vice president of education for Microsoft, commented that the available toolset will help make learning more personal.
"Effective teachers are the key to engaged and successful students. Technology can help educators gain more insight into individual students' needs and relevant ways to support them, connect and collaborate with students, parents and peers, and improve outcomes to generate and use best practices," he added.
Last week, studies by recruitment firm Hays Information Technology found knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint is currently among the IT skills most favoured by recruiting organisations.
The company stressed it is important jobseekers research transferable skills and understand how firms operate before applying for positions in order to be successful.
