Nameless CV proposal unrealistic

A proposal put forward by Liberal Democrat MP Lynne Featherstone to remove applicants' names from CVs has been criticised by would-be recruiters.
Ms Featherstone made the suggestions so that recruiters would not be unduly affected by information about sex, race or age before job interviews.
Mike Campbell, people director at airline Easyjet, told Personnel Today that the proposal would make an already stressful process for applicants more impersonal, without addressing the main reasons for discrimination.
Hazel Mitchell, human resources director at broadcaster ITN, added: "This is bureaucracy gone mad. The key to all this is a fair and thorough recruitment process, from initial selection through to hire."
She went on to say that if MPs had "some real life human resources experience", they would be less likely to come up with unrealistic recruitment ideas.
Last week, employment advice provider ResumeSolutions commented that jobseekers should highlight all their skills on their resume, including those little-used in their current position.
