Linux distance learning technology comes to Cambridge

Linux fast boot technology will be demonstrated at Bar Hill near Cambridge next month.
In news which may interest those considering Linux distance learning training, the facility, which allows network engineers to instantly display critical data on screen in one second or less, will be showcased at the Embedded Masterclass on May 7th.
MontaVista Software will present the technology and discuss with firms and individuals how to meet their requirements and install the fast boot facility.
The group went on to say it is especially important for automotive, industrial and aero engine sectors to have vital system data available to the user instantly after the system is powered up and recommended the Linux technology for these industries.
Earlier this week, Fabrizio Cardinali, chief executive of learning and mobile content management solution provider Giunti Labs, commented that students will soon be able to meet in specific real world learning hubs as a result of research carried out by 13 leading IT organisations.
