Jobseekers working on their CVs, interview technique and job searches

Jobseekers are paying more attention to every aspect of finding a new position due to the economic downturn, research suggests.

Matt Cody, marketing director at NES, claims candidates, including IT training course graduates, are focusing on how they can outdo their competitors and secure employment for themselves.

He states that people have been working on both CVs and interview techniques in order to gain an edge in the job market.

In addition, they have also been paying more attention to the technicalities of the job search and he says they have been turning to professional agencies to help them find vacancies.

Mr Cody states: "Specialist agencies offer specialist advice, which means that jobseekers can be confident in their approach and can address any areas of weakness before they embark on the next stage of their career."

In other news, StepStone recently published work showing that talented IT training course graduates could be in increasing demand as companies are struggling to find employees to recruit.ADNFCR-2238-ID-19083543-ADNFCR
